From their site: “2021 marks the 73rd anniversary of FIBArk, the nation's oldest whitewater festival and Salida's signature event. Since 1949, every June during the Spring snow runoff, Salida has hosted FIBArk, "First in Boating on the Arkansas." In 2021, due to COVID-19, FIBArk is planning limited events in coordination with public health guidelines. The 73rd FIBArk will be held June 17-20, 2021.”

Besides whitewater kayaking events, they now also include mountain biking and running events, too.
